LOOP is the brunch you come to when you want a real plate of food, a coffee that is actually correct, and a table inside 10 minutes of arriving — on the Pererenan side of the Canggu strip, away from the worst of the Berawa traffic.

  • 08:00–10:00 — First wave, mostly post-surf and early risers. Calmer.
  • 10:00–12:00 — Peak brunch traffic. Still walk-in-able, but expect company.
  • 12:00–14:30 — Late-brunch sweet spot. Full menu still on, half the crowd.

Brunch dishes run all the way through to close — no rigid 11am cutoff.

Picking a brunch in Canggu — honest comparison

Canggu has three sub-neighborhoods that all call themselves "Canggu" on Google. The honest tradeoff:

  1. Berawa — closer to Atlas, more polished, more Sydney-feeling, more queues. Choose if you are staying at Aston, Atlas or Mrs Sippy.
  2. Batu Bolong — surf-tourist core. Crate, Milk & Madu, the Old Man's strip. Choose if you are surfing.
  3. Pererenan (us) — calmer, slower, rice fields visible from the table. Choose if you want brunch without the brunch-circus.

We are firmly in Pererenan. Five minutes from the beach. Ten minutes scooter from Atlas, ten from Old Man's. If you came to Bali to slow down, this is the side of Canggu that actually does that.
